WCNA 38 Entertainment
Wednesday evening, the day before the convention officially opens, there’s a barn burning baseball game– the Washington Nationals play the New York Yankees! Please note: not all seats are in the same section, and you must organize your own transportation to the ballgame. Tickets are now sold out. If you’re one of the lucky ones, take lots of pictures and tell us all about it!
Throughout the day on Wednesday, city tours will be available for purchase https://usaguidedtours.com/dc/wcna/.
Once the convention kicks off, there will be concerts, comedy, and more! Coffeehouse entertainment is included with your registration; special event tickets are available while they last onsite at registration.
Event tickets are non-refundable. We are unable to issue a refund at this point because WCNA will have already incurred the cost of that seat.

Curtis Salgado
Coffeehouse entertainment included in the registration price
Our Coffeehouse entertainment will feature award-winning vocalist, instrumentalist, and songwriter Curtis Salgado https://curtissalgado.com/.The man NPR calls “an icon” with “a huge voice” is revered worldwide for his ability to wring every ounce of soul out of every song he performs
In 1977, John Belushi caught a typically ferocious Salgado performance. Belushi introduced himself during a break, and a fast friendship grew. Salgado played old records for Belushi, teaching him about blues and R&B. Belushi used his new awareness to portray “Joliet” Jake Blues inThe Blues Brothers, first as a skit on Saturday Night Live, then a best-selling record album (which was dedicated to Curtis) and finally in the movie (Cab Calloway’s character in the film was named Curtis as an homage).
This is a personal invitation from Curtis Salgado to his coffee house performance at WCNA 38.

Pumpin Archie
Nathaniel (Pumpin’ Archie) Wright came on the DC-DJ scene in 1995 and quickly built a following. He mixes old school music with the latest hits to keep the whole crowd on the floor. Known for his wide music collection and his fearless mixing, he started playing NA events and has served as the sole DJ for CPRCNA—the Chesapeake and Potomac regional Convention—since 2018.
Sylent Revolution: Techno Redefined
Sylent came to music early, playing piano and trumpet as a kid. In 2009 he discovered electronic music at the legendary KitKat Club in Berlin, and everything changed. He’s been making techno music ever since—and thanks to some other life changing events, he’s played a lot of NA conventions. Travelers among you might have seen him at the ECCNA-2018 in Poland, ECCNA-2023 in Budapest—or out in the club scene across Europe. Since 2020 he’s been working with DJs like PanPot, Indira Paganotto, Klaudia Gawlas, Dr. Motte and more. Sylent is infinitely grateful to be living his dream as a DJ, playing music all over the world and tonight—WCNA-38!
